Performer Heidi Michelle Thomas and pianist Adam Weinmann have been working over the past year and a half to bring live music back to Church Street, with their weekly musical theatre open mic “C. U. Next Tuesday” at O’Grady’s on Church. When they’re not wearing outrageous costumes and performing show tunes, Heidi works as an actor and Adam works as a dietitian at SickKids.

el Hashem
Canadian Lebanese artist el Hashem was born to a well known and respected Lebanese family, and inspired by trailblazing aunts hailed for their contribution to women in music in Lebanon, with one being considered one of the most stunning voices in the country from the 50’s to the mid 80’s. He has always been passionate about songs, but a career in queer media took his time, until 2020, when he decided to pursue his passion for singing and songwriting. (el Hashem, who’s real name is Antoine Elhashem is also the founder and co-producer of The Q Musicale)

Aaron De Sousa is a singer/songwriter from Mississauga, Ontario. He is a member of Forte – Toronto Gay Men’s Chorus and Tempo and has recorded four original albums: Closer to the Light in 2017, Necessity in 2019, Invitation in 2021 and Florence Sheridan in 2023.
